Sturdiwheat’s Date Codes

Sturdiwheat uses a 4 digit date code on all our mixes that uses the Julian calendar representing the “born on date”. Our code is read as follows:

The first 3 digits represent the consecutive numbered day of the year and the last digit is the last digit of the year it was produced.

EXAMPLE: 2353

This mix was produced on the 235th day of 2023.

January 1 is the first day of the year and December 31 is the 365th day of the year on non leap years.

All the mixes in the 1 lb. and 2 lb. sizes are best if used within 18 months and longer if put in the freezer after that date. The 6 oz. pancake mixes are best if used within 24 months and longer if put in the freezer.
